Checkpoints and goals: First, we had to define the unique brand positioning for Dan's Comp based on its history, its customers, and my client's business goals. We also investigated the Dan's Comp online user journey, from landing page all the way through checkout, with a comprehensive UX audit of the site. We laid down plans to improve the experience of that journey (solving a myriad of existing pain points for our users). Once the logistics and plans were in place, the next step was to build upon the new Dan's Comp visual identity, and translate that into a visual design system that we could then apply across the entire website and other customer touchpoints.
